Currently, one counts 200 inhabitants with Joch. It is a beautiful small médieval village, very calm and without shops. Joch obtained the 1' er price with the contest of the "Villages Flowered" in the year 2000, the second price the two following years. The brook bringing the water of Canigou, the fountains, the old laundrettes and abrevoirs, the ruisselets bordering the streets make the charm of the village.
